New Partnership Integrates Clinical Decision Support with EHRs to Improve Care Quality

January 31, 2011

DiagnosisOne recently announced a partnership with Greenway Medical Technologies to provide clinical decision support (CDS) to their electronic health record (EHR) deployments. You may have seen the recent coverage in Healthcare IT News and CMIO.

We are very pleased that Greenway selected DiagnosisONE based on the flexibility of our standards-based solutions and our unique ability to deliver actionable, patient-specific clinical decision support.

DiagnosisOne’s CDS solutions will now integrate into Greenway’s PrimeSUITE® 2011 EHR solution.  This collaboration, like our other recently announced partnerships with leading technology EHR providers, will assist Greenway in delivering real-time, patient-specific alerts at the point of care. Collectively we help providers achieve the CDS requirements needed to meet meaningful use criteria, an important step for all seeking to maintain reimbursement rates in the coming years, as well as helping reduce errors and simplify business processes.

According to Tee Green, Greenway’s president and CEO:

“Partnering with DiagnosisOne enables Greenway to easily and seamlessly integrate industry-leading clinical decision support and analytics capabilities into our EHR solution. Our combined capabilities will enable healthcare organizations to increase care quality, improve patient outcomes and facilitate adherence to compliance guidelines – all while maximizing profitability.”

Clinical Decision Support is at a critical point in ambulatory EHRs. Innovation is the name of the game. Our partnerships with leading EHR providers like Greenway are embracing the value of integrating CDS capabilities into their offerings to further help clinicians practice evidence-based medicine at the point of care. We are proud to share in the building of a new EHR foundation for making healthcare data truly meaningful and actionable. This momentum is helping to enable a new era of care quality and cost that would be unachievable without CDS.
