DiagnosisOne Embraces New Traditions in Healthcare Delivery at HIMSS11 in Orlando

February 15, 2011

Focused on improving the delivery of healthcare with our turnkey informatics platform that empowers EMRs & Systems Integrators, Hospitals & Providers, and Payers to improve care quality, reduce costs, and maximize reimbursement, DiagnosisOne is heading to Orlando, Fla., for the upcoming 2011 Annual HIMSS Conference & Exhibition, Feb. 20-24, 2011. Recognized as one of the premier conferences in the healthcare industry, HIMSS11 brings together healthcare professionals from around the globe for this annual gathering.

DiagnosisOne will be demonstrating our suite of products, including order sets, clinical decision support, analytics, and public health reporting at booth #2081 on the HIMSS exhibit floor.  Our platform addresses healthcare IT customers’ needs for meeting Meaningful Use requirements, improving care, and reducing costs, while our service-oriented architecture allows for a simple integration with existing systems.

With the transition from paper to digital records continuing to gain national attention and increased acceptance in healthcare, DiagnosisOne will share our newest technology solution at the conference. I asked Steve Keresztes, Vice President of Sales, to explain the benefits of exhibiting our services at HIMSS:
“At the annual HIMSS conference, we have an opportunity to meet with people who are looking for the right technology solution for their specific situation. DiagnosisOne can talk with each individual one-on-one about their own needs and advise them on the products available. The HIMSS exhibition also enables us to interact with other thought leaders in the space to ensure we are always developing leading-edge solutions for our customers.”

In Orlando, the HIMSS annual conference is expected to attract about 29,000 attendees, ranking it as one of the largest healthcare IT and management systems conferences in the world. Attendees who visit the conference participate in educational sessions and networking events, in addition to visiting the exhibits. The 2011 conference includes more than 300 educational sessions plus pre-conference sessions with symposia on achieving Meaningful Use, ARRA usability, clinical engineering, health information exchanges (HIEs), payers, physicians’ IT, and more.

In addition to the thought leaders in healthcare IT that will be present, Keynote speakers confirmed for HIMSS11 include:
Richard Boyd, chief architect of Lockheed Martin Virtual World Labs, who was also involved in technologies used in the film “Avatar”
Michael J. Fox, actor, author and founder of the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research

We look forward to attending this momentous event and helping to shape the future of healthcare.  We hope to see you there.
